"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I as thirsthy and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me" ... The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."  - Matthew 25:31- 46

The mandate of christ appears to be for all christians to be focused on fully those in need, not for the return on the investment but because it is the right thing to do.

Sunday Service

UNTIL THE CDC, FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS TELL US OTHERWISE, we will continue to err on the side of caution out of the concern for public health and we provide worship via Facebook Live on our church page at 10:30 AM.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'” Matthew 28:18-20

The last instruction the followers of jesus receive is concise and clear: they worship him, they receive authority from him, they are directed to make disciples throughout the works, baptize them and teach them until his return.

Church Activities
Covid-19 has affected many of us here at FUMC. While we have church activities such as youth, choir, handbells and Scouts, we are dedicated to keeping the health and safety of our church family first and foremost. Our church activities have been put on hold for the exception of what is being done virtually. We want our church family, visitors and community to know we will assume all activities as soon as it is safe to do so.
